Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application on July 30, 2024, from SCP Acquisitions LLC seeking Department of the Army authorization for the permanent loss of 0.37-acre of wetland and 0.004-acre (94 linear feet) of intermittent stream, associated with the expansion of an existing commercial/industrial warehouse development in Huntersville, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application on June 25, 2024, from Greater Raleigh Area Christian Education Inc. seeking Department of the Army authorization to discharge dredged or fill material into approximately 0.467 acre of wetlands and 1.205 acres of open waters, associated with the development of a new K-12 school campus and associated infrastructure in Apex, Wake County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application on June 14, 2024 from 35 North Land Holding, LLC seeking Department of the Army authorization to permanently impact 1.64 acres of wetlands, 240 linear feet (0.06 ac) of jurisdictional ditches, and to temporarily impact 0.3 acre of wetlands. This work is to facilitate the completion of the older platted Bolivia Heights Subdivision located in the northwest corner of Old Highway 17 East and Galloway Road, in Bolivia, Brunswick County, North Carolina. Plans include lot fill for residential homes, construction of four platted residential Town streets (Ashe Street NE, Elm Street NE, Cherry Street NE, and Walnut Street NE) for access to 122 existing platted residential lots, installation of water and sewer line, and construction of a pump station.
