Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

For all public notices pertaining to compensatory mitigation bank proposals or in-lieu fee mitigation sites developed by the North Carolina Division of Mitigation Services (NCDMS), please go to the Regulatory In-lieu Fee and Bank Information Tracking System website at

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from Seefried Industrial Properties seeking Department of the Army authorization to discharge fill material into 230 linear feet of intermittent stream channel and 0.014 acre of adjacent wetlands, associated with the construction of a 1,080,225 square foot fulfillment center with associated truck/employee parking (Project), in Linwood, Davidson County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from Hedrick Gravel and Sand Company- Lake Norman Quarry seeking Department of the Army authorization to impact 3,170 linear feet (lf) (2.18 acres) of Forney Creek, associated with a proposed expansion of an existing aggregate quarry at 6941 Quarry Lane in the Stanley community of Lincoln County, North Carolina.
