Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

    PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) proposes to issue a Regional General Permit to authorize activities that are substantially similar in nature and cause minimal individual and cumulative environmental impacts, associated with storm water drainage improvement projects and flood reduction activities conducted by Charlotte Storm Waters Services (CSWS), in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), seeking Department of the Army authorization to discharge fill material impacting 0.05 acre of wetlands, 684 linear feet of stream, and a 2.34-acre pond, associated with construction of the proposed interchange at the Triangle Expressway (Toll NC 540) and Old Holly Springs-Apex Road, Wake County, Division 5. STIP No. R-2635D, southwest of Apex, in Wake County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from JC Rentals, LLC seeking Department of the Army authorization to place fill material in 0.68-acres of palustrine, emergent wetlands, associated with the construction of a commercial development in Leland, Brunswick County, North Carolina.
