Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application on March 28, 2023, from the Four County Electric Cooperative c/o: Mr. Gregg Cohn seeking Department of the Army authorization to discharge fill material into 1.37 acre of wetlands for the construction of an access road for a new electrical Point of Delivery (POD) and substation on property located on Island Creek Road (SR 1002), just west of intersection with NC Highway 210, near Hampstead, Pender County, North Carolina.

Sydes Construction Inc. seeking Department of the Army authorization to discharge fill material into 0.129 acre of wetland, 67 linear feet of stream, and 0.40 acre of linear open water ditches, associated with construction of future phases of the residential subdivision, known as Stateside, located south of Richlands, Onslow County, North Carolina.
