Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application on July 11, 2023, from Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft) seeking Department of the Army authorization to permanently impact 1,826 linear feet (LF) (0.27 acres) of stream channel and 0.032 acre of wetland, and temporarily impact 73 LF (0.012 acre) of stream channel, associated with the construction of the Stover North Data Center- CLT 17 (Site) in Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from the Town of Fairmont, c/o Mr. Jerome Chestnut seeking Department of the Army authorization to permanently impact and fill 0.514 acres of 404 wetlands and temporary wetland impacts of 0.446-acres to improve the road access to the Town’s Wastewater Treatment Plant, on Highway 74/76 adjacent to the Lumber River, near the community of Boardman in Robeson County, North Carolina.

Warren Bridge (Tyrrell County Bridge No. 7) on U.S. 64 over the Alligator River portion of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, associated with transportation improvements in Tyrrell County, North Carolina.
