Regional General Permits - Authorized 2011

This page contains information about the 2011 five year re-authorization of the Regional General Permits. Regional General Permits (RGPs or GPs) are specific to the Wilmington District for waters and wetlands of North Carolina, and the associated conditions are established by the District. The Wilmington District also supports a State Programmatic General Permit (SPGP or PGP), developed in cooperation with the state, the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management, Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) permit program. This Regional General Permit, referred to as GP 291, was one of the very first State Programmatic General Permits authorized in the US.

The current RGPs in the Wilmington District are linked below as PDF documents. The current GP 198200031, which is used for NC DOT Bridges, was re-authorized November 1, 2008 and can be used until October 31, 2013. All other RGPs used in the District were re-authorized January 1, 2011 and can be used until December 31, 2016.
