Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from the Koury Corporation seeking Department of the Army authorization to permanently discharge dredged or fill material into 144 linear feet of stream channel, 0.15 acre of riparian non-riverine wetlands, and 0.011 acre of open waters, and temporarily discharge dredged or fill material into 10 linear feet of stream channel and 0.023 acre of open waters, associated with constructing the Grandover West development in Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application from the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) regarding a potential future requirement for Department of the Army authorization to discharge dredged or fill material into waters of the United States associated with a new transportation project that would extend from the vicinity of US 17 and I-140 in Brunswick County to US 421 in southern New Hanover County.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), seeking Department of the Army (DA) authorization to permanently impact 12.66 acres of jurisdictional wetlands, 2426 linear feet of stream, 0.43 acres of surface waters and temporarily impact 0.03 acres of surface waters associated with construction of TIP Project R-2582A the widening of US 158 for 8.2 miles east of I-95 near the town of Garysburg, in Northampton County, North Carolina.
