Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

    The Wilmington District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application for a Department of the Army permit pursuant to Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. §1344) and/or Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C. §403). The applicant requests authorization to permanently discharge fill material into 0.551 acre (ac) of wetland and 0.054 ac (373 linear feet [lf]) of stream channel (0.046 ac [311 lf] of which is considered a permanent loss) for the roadway network, culverts, riprap dissipaters, and associated mass grading for the site. Temporary impacts include 0.018 ac of wetland and 0.013 ac (80 lf) of stream. These impacts are associated with the Green Level West Medical Campus, a 100-bed hospital and emergency department, institutional, commercial, office, hospitality, and residential buildings, and associated infrastructure.
