We administer a program, for the district that includes permit processing, compliance, and enforcement.

Our program goals:

  • Protect the aquatic environment
  • Enhance regulatory program efficiency
  • Make fair, reasonable, and timely decisions
  • Achieve 'No Net Loss' of Aquatic Resources

We must continue to balance development with environmental protection, especially protection of aquatic resources. We are always striving to make decisions on permit applications in a timely manner, while providing improved environmental review, documentation, predictability, and transparency to the public.
