Hurricane Dorian Preparation and Response
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Wilmington District inspected Wrightsville, Carolina and Kure Beaches following Hurricane Dorian and discovered that the nourishment efforts greatly reduced coastal storm damage.
