WILMINGTON, N.C. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District has announced that campgrounds at W. Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir will be closing in October for the 2017 recreation season. Fort Hamby and Warrior Creek Campgrounds will be closing on October 15th and will reopen for the 2018 season on April 15th. Bandit’s Roost Campground will be closing on October 31st and will reopen for the 2018 season on April 1st.
