WILMINGTON, N.C. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District has announced that the Boomer and Berry Mountain public swim beaches located on W. Kerr Scott Dam and Reservoir will close on September 4th for the 2018 recreation season and will reopen May 1st for the 2019 recreation season. The Fort Hamby public swim beach will close on October 15th for the 2018 recreation season and will reopen on April 15th for the 2019 recreation season.
