on the Princeville Flood Risk Management Feasibility Study

WILMINGTON, N.C. – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District, will reschedule the public information session planned for April 29 to provide the communities of Princeville, Tarboro and all interested residents of Edgecombe County an update on the status of the Princeville Flood Risk Management Feasibility Study.

The Corps will publish information on the new meeting date once the project team confers with local officials on dates agreeable to local officials, project team members and stakeholders.

The feasibility study and report examines all relevant economic, environmental, and social benefits and costs related to any proposed improvements to reduce the risk of future flooding.

The final product will be an integrated U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Feasibility
