The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wilmington District awarded a $16,456,566 contract to Marinex Construction, Inc. for the dredging of Morehead City Inner Ocean Bar.

Continued closure of William O’Huske/Lock and Dam Three and closure of Lock and Dam Two

The William O’Huske/Lock and Dam Three, located at 1248 Bill Hall Rd, Fayetteville, N.C., will remain closed due to continued construction through August 14th, 2023. Lock and Dam Two, located at 645 Lock #2 Rd, Elizabethtown, N.C., will close July 10th, 2023, and is projected to reopen August 7th, 2023.
