Contractors search for unexploded ordnance (UXO) and other debris near a mobile home that's located on the former Camp Butner training area near Butner, North Carolina. The Formerly Used Defense Site (FUDS) was a World War II infantry training installation hastily built in 1942. The once rural area north of Raleigh is becoming suburban sprawl, and before homes are built the land must be first cleared with the owner's permission.
