The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District employs 415 people to include Headquarters Wilmington District, five Regulatory Field Offices, five multi-purpose dams and reservoirs, and Fort Bragg USASOC Resident Engineer Office.
Area of Operations- The Wilmington District encompasses North Carolina and south central Virginia. Our varied geography includes six river basins, mountains, 1,336 miles of Atlantic shoreline, and 308 miles of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway.
