Leave the area just as clean as you'd want to find it. Please recreate responsibly, follow the 7 Leave No Trace Principles, and CFR Title 36, Chapter III while camping at Kerr Reservoir. Subsequent campers and picnickers are entitled to a well-kept area, and you'll be expected to take every precaution against the spread of fire, damage to trees and other vegetation, unsanitary conditions and vandalism.

Winter Camping at John H. Kerr Reservoir

Are you interested in camping with us over the winter season? We are offering winter camping at North Bend Park. All available sites are first come first serve. See information below for details. North Bend Park Winter Camping Information:

  • 1 November 2024 - 16 March 2025
  • Campsites 78 – 103 open with electricity $20/Night
  • Campsite 93 – Double site $40/Night
  • One bathhouse is available with hot water and heat.
  • No water hookups at site!
  • Potable water is available at the Dump Station.
  • Equipment must be on the campsite at all times to indicate the site is occupied.
  • Cash not accepted.
  • Boat Ramp/DUA – Free for campers.
