The effects of Hurricane Michael at the Wilmington District's Philpott Dam and Reservoir in Bassette, Virginia have closed several facilities. The Philpott Marina is closed due to the walkway being underwater, and all electric sites (1-47) in the Salthouse Branch campsite are closed. In addition, all boat ramps in Salthouse and Goose Point are closed, and the shelter at Twin Ridge is underwater.
