SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: The North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commission and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service have announced the dates for the early resident Canadian Goose season as September 1st thru the 30th. Following are the news release and the special hunt permit:

W. Kerr Scott Lake has six wildlife management areas. All wildlife management areas are regulated as North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission Game Lands.
