If you are unsure whether your project will require an Individual Permit (IP) or a Nationwide Permit (NWP), please use the Pre-Construction Notification (PCN) application form in lieu of Engineer Form 4345.

This form is required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers when applying for an Individual Permit (IP) - INLAND COUNTIES ONLY.

Pre-Construction Notification (PCN) Form

The content on the PCN form is is required by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the NC Division of Water Quality  when applying for certain Nationwide Permits (NWP) authorized by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Note 11/2008:  The new PCN form is available to meet the requirements of the 2007 Nationwide Permits.  Please check the specific requirements of the permit for which you are applying to see the specific reporting requirements. 
 


Joint Corps - CAMA Forms

For projects within the 20 coastal counties

The US Army Corps of Engineers and the NC Division of Coastal Management (DCM) Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) support a joint permit application.  Visit the DCM web site to learn about the CAMA permit process, major and minor permits and the CAMA program, and to download applications and check status.

Application Form for General Permit 30  

Hyco Lake Application Form for NC Division of Water Quality (NC-DWQ) for General Permit 30 in Hyco Lake in Person and Caswell Counties. NC-DWQ mailing address and permit fees are on the form. Please note: As of 12/18/2007 written application to and authorization from the Corps of Engineers is not required for most riprap, bulkhead, seawall or other bank stabilization methods. If you have questions, please call the appropriate Corps contact for your county.
