Salthouse Branch

 

Facilities available include a boat ramp, courtesy dock, short hiking trails, a 4.5 mile multi-use trail, campground with some water and electrical sites, picnic areas - one with shelter, swimming areas, amphitheater, flush toilets, hot water showers, playground and sanitary dump station. 

There are a total of 90 campsites 

Open from  April 1 - October 31.

Day Use Fees apply.  Cost is $4.00 per vehicle or $1.00 per walk-in.  Children under the age of 12 admitted free.  Annual Passes are valid at this location.         A fee of $4.00 per vehicle is charged for visitors to campsites.

Driving Directions:

From Fairystone Park Highway (Route 57) turn onto Trent Hill Road (SR 674).  Travel 1.3 miles and turn left on Philpott Road (SR 674).  Travel 1.3 miles and turn left on Cedar Hill Road (SR 603) - note: road name changes to Philpott Rd at county line.  Travel 3.9 miles to a Stop sign.  Turn left on Knob Church Road (SR 798).  Travel 9/10 mile and bear left onto Salthouse Branch Road - 1.5 miles into the park.

From Route 220: Take Henry Road (SR 605).  Travel on Henry Road until you get to Knob Church Road (SR 798).  Turn left and travel approx. 2 miles. Bear left onto Salthouse Branch Road - 1.5 miles into the park.
