Camping Policy and Procedures

Camping is one of our most popular outdoor recreation activities at John H. Kerr Reservoir. Buffalo Park EntranceAlmost all US Army Corps of Engineer campgrounds feature resident Park Attendants who register incoming campers and provide information. Park Rangers and Sheriff Deputies patrol the areas and provide visitor assistance. Listed below are established procedures which are in effect at all John H. Kerr Corps operated campgrounds. We ask that you familiarize yourself with these and should you have any questions, please contact the Park Attendant or Park Ranger.
