Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from the NCDOT-Ferry Division seeking Department of the Army authorization to dredge and perform maintenance on a 2.5-mile segment of the Hatteras-Ocracoke ferry route identified as Sloop Channel in Hyde County, North Carolina.

  • REGULATORY ACTIVITIES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

    The US Army Corps of Engineers is providing this update to inform the public and our Federal and State agency partners of our activities during the current COVID-19 pandemic. There have been no changes in the requirements associated with our authorities under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act and it is our intention to continue to fully implement the requirements associated with these authorities during this pandemic.
