Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

  • Re-Authorization of District Regional General Permits

    Expiration date: 4/25/2016

    The DISTRICT ENGINEER, WILMINGTON DISTRICT, proposes to renew, with modifications, nine Regional General Permits and one Programmatic General Permit pursuant to Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (33 U.S.C 403) and Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C 1344). The Proposed 2017 RGP Reauthorization web page will contain all public documents related to these re-authorizations.

Hovnanian Homes of North Carolina, Inc. seeking Department of the Army authorization to permanently impact 377 linear feet of stream channel and 0.97 acre of forested wetlands, associated with the construction of the Oak Pointe residential subdivision, near Apex, in Wake County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from Pender County Schools seeking Department of the Army authorization to impact waters of the US, associated with the construction of a K-8 school with associated recreational fields, access roads, parking, and stormwater facilities in Surf City, Pender County, North Carolina.
