Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application from Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services seeking Department of the Army authorization to impact 1,302 linear feet of stream channel associated with the Parkwood Storm Drainage Improvement Project, between East 13th and East 15th Streets, in Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.     The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application from The Epiphany School of Global Studies seeking Department of the Army authorization to impact 1.51 acres of wetlands and 0.016 acre of Relatively Permanent Waters associated with construction of recreational facilities at its Trent Road campus in New Bern, Craven County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application from Mr. Michael Moran of Ashley Furniture Industries, Inc. (Ashley Furniture), seeking a Department of the Army permit authorization for petmanent impacts to 316 linear feet of jurisdictional stream channels and 4.089 acres of jurisdictional forested wetlands adjacent to Buffalo Creek, associated with the proposed expansion of their existing warehouse and manufacturing facilities located off of 916 Baltimore Road, west of Advance, in Davie County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from Dr. Arnold Sobol of AFTEW Properties, LLC seeking modification to the Department of the Army authorization issued June 11, 2012 for the discharge of fill material into 1.11 acres of wetlands adjacent to Mott’s Creek, associated with the completion of the Village at Mott’s Landing residential development. The applicant is proposing to impact an additional 0.12 acre for the construction of three (3) single family dwellings and one (1) multi-family unit. The 262 acre project area is located along River Road and Sanders Road, New Hanover County, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) has received an application from the North Carolina Department of Transportation seeking Department of the Army authorization to impact jurisdictional waters of the U.S. including 1,377 linear feet of stream channels, 0.27 acre wetlands, and 0.01 acre open water (ponds) associated with the construction of a 3.2 mile, partial new location roadway known as NC DOT TIP project R-2246 B (George Liles Parkway) from south of SR 1304 (Roberta Road) to SR 1341 (Weddington Road), west of Concord, in Cabarrus County, North Carolina.
