Regulatory Public Notices

As used by the Corps, the term "public notice" is an official, required government announcement of a proposed agency action, decision made or under consideration, public hearing or other activity.  Please download the attachment(s) associated with notice for the complete, formatted, public notice with tables, illustrations, maps and plans.

Mitigation Public Notices

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from Dare County seeking Department of the Army authorization to utilize US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) dredges to conduct maintenance dredging on a channel known as the “Connector Channel” on an as-needed basis located between Ocracoke Island and Hatteras Island, North Carolina.

    The Wilmington District, Corps of Engineers (Corps) received an application from Mr. Jeffrey Hudson of Onslow County seeking Department of the Army authorization to perform maintenance dredging in the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway (AIWW), New River Inlet, and Cedar Bush Cut and deposit dredged material along the northern 2 miles of the North Topsail Beach oceanfront associated with an Onslow County Navigation Project in the Town of North Topsail Beach, Onslow County, North Carolina.
