Corps of Engineers seeks public comments on N.C. DOT permit application

The Wilmington District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is soliciting public comments on an application from the North Carolina Department of Transportation seeking Department of the Army authorization to discharge dredged or fill material into waters of the United States associated with the proposed Complete 540, Triangle Expressway Southeast Extension (STIP Project Numbers R-2721, R-2828, and R-2829) in Wake and Johnston Counties, N.C.
